1900 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE

1900 MLK Jr. Avenue SE

Narrative Description

Across from Anacostia Gateway, the redevelopment opportunity along the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE calls for the revival of a property comprised of 3 vacant storefronts in great need of revitalization. The District has demolished the buildings on site with the exception of the façade, which is designated historic. The properties could provide much needed commercial activity to an economically-challenged area of Ward 8.
