Parcel 69

Narrative Description
The 500,000 square-foot mixed-use project on a pair of District-owned parcels in Southwest represents an opportunity to turn underused properties into assets that serve the community. The District will partner with E Street Development - comprised of Potomac Investment Properties, City Partners and Adams Investment Group - to build more than 450,000 square feet of office space, a cafe and training center run by the DC Center Kitchen, more than 300 parking spaces and 22,000 square foot fire station. As a part of the project, the development team will build - at no cost to the District - the new fire station for Engine Co. 13 on one of the two sites. The project also calls for a community space for after school programs run by Kid Power DC. The new fire station will be built as part of the project's first phase on a site less than two blocks away from the existing fire station so that Engine Co. 13 will remain fully operational during the project's construction.
