925 13th Street, NW
Square 285, Lot 808

Great urban centers consist of diverse populations, extensive commercial activity, varied accommodations for visitors, pedestrian-oriented streetscapes, retail within short walking distances, distinctive public spaces, and ubiquitous mass transit. To realize this vision, the Government of the District of Columbia (District) makes properties available for development in order to assist in achieving these goals and improving the quality of life for District of Columbia residents and visitors.
With this vision and these goals in mind, the District, through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED), is pleased to issue this Request for Proposals (RFP) inviting qualified development teams (Offerors) to propose their vision and plan for redeveloping the historic Franklin School building located at 925 13th Street NW, Washington, DC 20005 ("Franklin School" or "Development Site").
Teams have the opportunity to visit The Historic Franklin School Building site again anytime during the hours of 10am - 12pm on December 3, 2009.
