Washington, DC Economic Partnership/DC Business Connections

The Washington, DC Economic Partnership is a public/private partnership between the District of Columbia's Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development and six other key District stakeholders: the DC Chamber of Commerce, Potomac Electric & Power Company (PEPCO), the DC Building Industry Association, Verizon, FannieMae, and GEICO Insurance.

The center actively promotes and markets the District of Columbia as the premier city in the region and nation in which to conduct business, live, shop, seek education and health care, and enjoy world-class museums and cultural attractions. Through marketing outreach efforts, such as BusinessPremier, the center will enhance the economic development of the District through business retention and recruitment programs, retail retention and recruitment efforts, the creation of public/private partnerships, and the provision of information related to the District's economic development.
