District Contracting LSDBE Program Certified Local, Small and/or Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (LSDBE's) are given priority consideration for contracts offered by District agencies and on publicly assisted projects. Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD)

Local
Federal Contracting: HUB Zone Program Businesses located in federally designated HUB zones are given preference in bidding for federal contracts with federal agencies.

Small businesses in HUB Zones can qualify for higher government guaranties on surety bonds for construction and service contract bids. SBA will increase its guaranty on surety bonds from 80% to 90%.
