NET 2000 Incentives Summary

The New Economy Transformation Act of 2000 (NET 2000) became law on April 4, 2001. DC Law 13-256 provides tax incentives for qualified high technology companies located in the District of Columbia. These incentives are effective as of January 1, 2001.

Depending on where a company is located, the incentives provided by NET 2000 can be combined with the federal Enterprise Zone incentives. Use these links to view the High Tech Development Zones and the Enterprise Zones
