Mayor Anthony Williams Announces the Mt. Vernon Triangle Action Agenda

(Washington, DC) Tomorrow, Mayor Anthony A. Williams will release the Mt. Vernon Triangle Action Agenda, designed to help create a new vibrant and active mixed-use neighborhood in the emerging east end of Downtown DC. Located on 30 acres bordered by Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey Avenues, this Downtown community boasts exciting new residential, retail, and commercial opportunities.

At the public announcement, you can learn about:

  • The District-led public/private planning partnership to revitalize this community and the vision for the Triangle.
  • Formation of the new Community Improvement District: What's the goal? What are the benefits?
  • Update on winning proposal for the Wax Museum site.
