DC Office of Planning to Receive National Award

(Washington, DC) The Near Southeast Urban Design Framework, the District plan for the Anacostia River waterfront, will receive the 2004 "Outstanding Planning Award for a Plan" from the American Planning Association on Wednesday, April 28 (full details below).

The annual award honors the most outstanding national effort in city and regional planning. The Near Southeast plan, produced by the DC Office of Planning (OP), was selected from more than 190 entries.
